This Cookie Policy explains how FutureDay uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how it is used. We also use similar technologies such as your browser’s local storage.
Required for the site and app to function, for example keeping you signed in and protecting the site from abuse. These cannot be switched off.

Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. As of September 2026 our analytics is our own: we count a small, fixed list of actions — running the free resume check, clicking one of our buttons, downloading the mini-guide — on our own servers, and we no longer use a third-party analytics provider. We never record what you type, upload or paste; the resume checker runs entirely in your browser and nothing from your resume leaves it.

We remember your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (under “siq_cookie_consent”) so we do not have to ask every visit. Our own analytics stores one random identifier (“fd_anon”) so that two actions in the same visit can be counted as one person rather than two; it is not a cookie, it is not linked to your name or email, and if you have not chosen “Accept all” it is kept only for the current tab and discarded when you close it. Choosing “Essential only” switches it off completely. FutureDay also stores some data in your browser’s local storage to run the app; this stays on your device and is not a tracking cookie. When we introduce paid plans, our payment processor (Stripe) will also set strictly necessary cookies at checkout to help prevent fraud.
When you first visit, you can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the banner that appears. To change your choice at any time, click “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page — this re-opens the banner so you can switch between “Essential only” and “Accept all”. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features (such as staying signed in) may stop working.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
