Testers wanted

Run your job search in it.
Tell us what's wrong.

We are letting twenty-five people into FutureDay before it opens. Four weeks, your own real job search, and an honest conversation about what works and what doesn't.

4 weeks 30–40 min a week 25 places Free during, and 3 months after Nothing to buy
Apply to be a tester → Takes about three minutes. We read every application.
The honest version

Most of this is not testing.
It is your own job search, done inside a tool, with someone asking you questions along the way.

You were going to rewrite your CV anyway. You were going to fix that LinkedIn profile you've been avoiding, and you were going to sit down and prepare for an interview properly at some point. Do those things in here instead, and tell us where it falls over.

What you get

Free while you test, and a price nobody else can get

There is no catch and no card. The whole app, every feature, for the four weeks and well beyond them.

1

The whole app, free

Every module for the full four weeks. Nothing held back, nothing locked, no trial tier.

2

Three more months

When the test ends, you keep it free for another three months. No conditions attached to that.

3

The founding member rate

After that, if you want to carry on, you go onto the founding rate — a price nobody who arrives later can get.

4

A direct line

Say something is wrong and it goes straight to the people who can change it. What you say in week one can be in the product by week three.

What we ask

Thirty to forty minutes a week

Here is the whole commitment, written down before you apply rather than discovered in week two. Two and a half to three hours across the whole month, and a third of that is the two group calls.

What we actually need from you

  • Use it for real. On your real job search, not a made-up scenario. A pretend search finds pretend problems.
  • Say when something is wrong. Confusing, broken, slow, or just plain bad writing — email us the moment you spot it. If the app itself falls over, it will offer to send us the details.
  • Be honest, especially when it's negative. Politeness is the least useful thing you can give us.
  • Turn up to the two calls. Thirty minutes at the start, thirty at the end.

And what we will never ask

  • No written reports. No bug lists, no templates to fill in, no spreadsheet.
  • No posting about us. No reviews, no testimonials, no referrals. If you want to, lovely — but it is not part of the deal.
  • No payment, at any point. There is nothing to buy during the four weeks and no card is taken.
  • No paperwork. One request only: please don't put screenshots on LinkedIn while we're still building it.

And if life gets in the way

Tell us and step out. No hard feelings and no chasing — we would genuinely rather pass the place to someone who can use it than have you feel guilty about an app.

Who we're looking for

A mixture, deliberately

We are not taking the first twenty-five applications. FutureDay writes differently depending on what you do and how far along you are, and the only way to find out whether it gets that right is to have all of it represented. So we are picking for spread.

Across every kind of work

Sales Marketing & Communications Customer Success & Service Finance & Accounting HR & People Legal, Risk & Compliance Operations & Delivery Technology & Engineering Product Administration & Business Support Something else entirely

And at every stage

  • Early career. Not much to put on a page yet and unsure how to make it count.
  • Mid career. Plenty of experience, badly written down.
  • Senior and executive. Where what got you here stops working and the search goes quiet.
  • Actively looking, or just keeping an eye out. Both are useful. If you are actively looking, you are especially useful.

You do not need to be job hunting today to be a good tester. You do need to be willing to put your own real career into it rather than a made-up one.

Twenty-five places

Three minutes to apply. We will tell you either way within a few days, and if you are not in this round we will ask before we come back to you.
